Test my doctrine according to historical men?

faithful witness writes: Test your doctrine today; from the pen of Edwards your doctrine will fall.

That is not how you test your doctrine? This is the mark of a false prophet! Where in scripture are we told to test our doctrine to other than the scripture? Find me that passage? Your reasoning is circular. That is what Catholics do! The Reformed are nothing more than watered down Catholics.

Bitter, ignorant, and foolish. You know full well that is not what I meant.

Of course it is "what you meant"! Why would you want me to answer my doctrine to some false prophet in history? Answer: because that is the only way you can be right. You cannot do it with scripture. The only way we can measure true doctrine is by the scriptures, not by false doctrines of devil's such as was taught by John Edwards the Calvinistic false prophet.

Edwards was a false prophet? Prove your slander. You fail to test your doctrine of God with scripture, if you had you would not believe in the false god that you worship.

Yeah, Edwards was a false Prophet and trying my doctrine against what he says is no test at all! Edwards words as well mine should be tried against scripture not against some historical figure.
